Americanism and Government Winners

Congratulations also go to Troy and Sarah for their 1st place achievements in the American Legion's "Americanism and Government" test administered last November.   In chapel these two students were recognized for their 1st place finish among juniors in Lake County.  Sarah also took 1st place among all juniors and seniors for her essay on how to be prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.  Fifteen area public and private schools participated in this test.

Congratulations 2012 BCSA Winners!

God gave MCS a great amount of success at the Buckeye Christian School Association Fine Arts Competition.  See the complete list of the 23 first place, 14 second place, and 13 third place winners here.

First place winners include the MCS Girls (HS Vocal Group), HS Large Instrumental Ensemble, and the JH Choric Speaking Group.  The General Knowledge Quiz Team and High School Choir also finished in second place.

Praise the Lord!

The First Annual MCS Silent Auction was a Success

Our first annual Color the World silent auction was a huge success.  Over $7,000 was given through the purchase of auction items and donations.  That accounts for over half of the cost of the new carpet project!

About MCS:

Mentor Christian School was founded in 1967 as a ministry of Bible Community Church--an independent, fundamental, Bible-believing church. Hundreds of students have since come through our doors and gone on to serve the Lord. Our goal is to equip our students with the tools they will need to be faithful ambassadors for Christ to the world, steadfast servants in their local churches, and successful individuals in whatever the Lord has for their lives.  To achieve this goal MCS provides a Biblically-based curriculum taught by godly, caring teachers in small classes.

Mentor Christian School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

How Can I Know God?
