Crusader Basketball

The theme verse for the 2010-2011 boys basketball season was Colossians 3:23-25 – “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.” Coach/Pastor Hobi and Coach Trivisonno emphasized the importance of doing your best for the glory of God in every aspect of life. With ten players willing to work hard and a passion for the game, the team was willing to change their schedules to accommodate the rigorous morning practices. The first day of practice, the coaches presented the team with the concept of P³: "Passion for Christ, Pound on Defense, Push on Offense."
