Home School Involvement in MCS Activities

Participation Options

A homeschooled student may take up to two academic classes plus participate in one MCS extra-curricular activity at any one time. Enrollment in classes and
sport participation are subject to availability after MCS fulltime students have registered for those classes/activities.

A homeschooled student must be enrolled in at least one MCS class in order to participate in an MCS extra-curricular activity.

Participation Requirements

All students, part-time or full-time, must abide by the MCS standards of conduct, family handbook,  and dress code. Registering for a class is a commitment on the part of the family and the student so that attendance to MCS classes and activities take priority over other family commitments.

Participation Costs for the 2007-2008 School Year

There is a $30 registration fee per student and is due at the time of application. This fee covers the entire school year. Tuition for each full-year class is $675, a semester class is $350. Classes that meet 1-3 times per week cost $350 for a full-year or $225 for a semester class. There is a sport fee of $200 per sport played. Tuition costs may be divided into monthly payments over the period of time that the student is enrolled.

Mentor Christian School has faithfully served families for 40 years. Our commitment to provide a biblically-based school program has not changed, and is beneficial to everyone who desires to use his life for the glory of God.

The school’s primary ministry is to its full-time students, yet there are opportunities for homeschooled students in grades 7-12 to benefit from what MCS has to offer on a part-time basis. Whether full-time or part-time, we would love to minister to your family!
